Antenna replacement

So, clearing snow off of my girlfriend's CLK 500 I accidentally snapped the rear antenna in half. It was still hanging on -- only just -- so I used some black duct tape to hold it in place.

From what I could see of the exposed glass, I didn't see any wires... so I'm wondering if this thing is just stuck on with double-sided tape. Can I remove it without exposing any holes in the glass? Also, anyone happen to have a part # so I can order a replacement?

I suppose I will swing by the dealer this week to see if they have any replacements on hand, but I'd like to know if I can remove the broken one without having a replacement handy.

I didn't get any pics of it, but I cracked the base in half immediately to the left of the protruding antenna, to where it was barely hanging on by the factory tape/glue.

Basically I was just unsure if the antenna is actually hooked up to anything or if it just rests against the glass (for whatever reason?).
