Wipers Stop when I Stop Issue!

I have an issue with my Wipers on my 2004 CLK500. When I stop moving, the wipers stop where ever they are in their cycle. And living here in the Chicago area, if the Snow is coming down as it has lately, it causes issue's. I've talked to 2 dealer's about this. One(Motorwerks) says that it is an issue with a sensor and the other(Naperville) says it is a feature of the car. If it is a feature, is there a way to turn it off? Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

on your wiper stalk there should be different postions it might be in intermittent (only works when water is detected on windshield/ speeds up and slows down on its own)....but i don't think it should just stop half way thru....take it some where else and try to take video of it happening so you can show them.

It shouldn't just stop in the middle of a cycle like that. Try turning off the automatic wiper feature so that it doesn't turn on based on rain drop on the windshield sensor. To to that, don't leave the wiper level on position 1.

Even when the wipers are on Low, High or Auto the wipers stop when the Car stops.

P.S. What type of kit did you use to lower the CLK in the Pic? Love it!
