Upgrading alloys

Hi all, I'm upgrading my stock 16 alloys to I believe what are called AMG type III 18 inch. (A171 401 1702 - 8.5 JX18 H2 ET 30 & A171401 1602 7.5 JX18 H2 ET 37)

Would this be a straight swap with exising wheel nuts etc or would I need spacers or new short/longer nuts. I was hoping a straight swap as the newer clk amg use these alloys as stock

Cheers

Pretty sure you are going to need new lugs. Everything else should be fine.

More info is needed on those AMG III. Different MB models used these wheels OEM. Not all are easily interchangeable between models.

If that part number is correct, you will be fine. R171, W203 and W209 wheels are interchangeable.

Shouldn't for those PNs. Easy enough to verify on your own. Will the lug bolts seat properly and will you see a gap when looking at them inserted, from the rear of the wheels.

Hi, they do seem to sit ok and no I can't see any gaps. Although I only had them on for one day as they wasn't balanced and it was causing a terrible vibration through the steering wheel around 60mph. Now being referbed and balanced, I was thinking the lugs may also be the cause.
