2008 CLK350 Coupe
Rear sits too low after spring swap

I installed H&R springs on my 08 CLK350...it looks great but my rear tires are wearing out way to fast due to negative camber. I'm thinking about changing the rear spring pads to compensate for the camber.

Has anybody had to deal with this situation? What did you do?
What size pads would work?

How long did it take for the tires to wear? I recently purchased a rear camber kit from (ghostrider) haven't installed it yet but it should help with that problem.

This thread posted by Klinh should help you decide on the spring pads to use. IMO changing the spring pads won't help much on tire wear.

Spring Pads

Correct allignment and camber kit will help much more.

The number pad that you have is dependant on your spec, options such as electric seats, sunroof etc will add weight and will thus have thicker pads. Just get under your car with a torch and count how many "nipples" your pads have.
