So,

I recently got into a small crack to my C55 bumper and lip, so I decided to get a CLK63 front, (thanks Russell Stevens for the great help!!!)

I always wanted something like the black series look, so this is what I came out with. I painted those fog light and center meshs with the flat black paint I sprayed my grll with, so it matches!

I also installed a hideaway plate as well!

I'm waiting for my CLK Brabus replica grill to arrive, then the front end SHOULD be done

Next up is a wider fender, and MAYBE a nice drop.

The lip is a C63 lip, I had trouble finding a CLK63 front lip!

The CLK63 is not a direct bolt on, theres a list of stuff that needs to be replaced (for cars that are pre-facelift w209), but for the facelift W209s, yes its a direct bolt.

It came out great! The lip is a little distracting, but you can always change it out when you find the right one......

the bumper is not a direct bolt on for C55s or prefacelift W209s, you'll need a lot of replacement parts!

no that's not a clk63 bumper, i am pretty sure....
because i was trying to do this modification couple month ago

take a close look at the fog light cover....
the shape is different....

It NOT the factory Clk63 front bumper !!! It an aftermarket post-2006 Clk500 with added side vents.

How many bolts holding that lip? Be careful driving on the highway, I don't want to hear another horror stories about CF lip flying off

bingo , i knew something was off....looks like the clk55 w209 bumper with vents on the side.....

the clk63 has more of a boxy look like the w211 e63

lol you're the first person to guess right! it is NOT a CLK63 bumper, it's a replica bumper. It's a CLK AMG bumper with side vents! (sorry kev! had to lie to you, didn't want to kill the surprise!)

I couldn't get my hands on a CLK63 front, the dealer wouldn't order it for me, even if i had the correct VIN! AND it was one pricey hell of a bumper!

but you guys do like the custom vents eh? looks legit!


and besides, the squared up fog light sides are quite weird looking


and this is eventually the look i'm trying to go for, and this bumper looks closer than the actual 63 bumper!
