replace rotors at 20k

Ok so i got new akebono brake pads now im thinking should i also get new rotors? or at 20 k the yare still good?

I would...Just bought the premium rotors from R1Concepts...Going to be installing them in about a month with Akebono pads...Have you installed the pads yet? If you haven't I think you should get the rotors.

These rotors can easily last 2 sets of pads. As long as the thickness is above the minimum thickness, which is stamped on the edge of the rotor, you can resuse the old rotors.
