Adjustable sway bar ..makes a difference ?

Whatsup guys currently i have the h&r rear adjustable sway bar on my clk500 2003 , last week i was getting some work done on my car and whiel the car was on the lift i realized the the bar is not on the stiffer setting my question is since i have the stock front for now if i change it to the stiffer setting will it really make a big difference in handling that will be noticable or better to leave it like that until i buy the front sway, do you guys think it will be better to buy the front as well because i heard it better to stiffen up the rear? Thanks guys

Adjustable sway bar is designed to reduce suspension travel. Too stiff in the back will cause the car to understeer and too soft will cause the car to oversteer. Adjust it to how ever sue your driving style. You just have to play around with the setting to find out what best setting for you.

Thanks Klinh, but is there a point to stiffen up the rear now because i have stock fronts anyways so its just gonna be to stiff in the back and to soft in the front my tail is gonna be sliding all over the place im guessing, i was thinking of just maybe getting the front and then play with it because i dont have the time with school and worknor do i have the tools i dont want to go pay a shop to take of two screws and put them back on and charge me all sorts of fees and then it might be to stiff in the rear ill have to go back and redo it thats why i was curious if anybody had the same setup as me bilstein shocks and hr springs and rear hr sway i drive pretty hard and like to fly into turns lol

Why can you do the adjustment yourself? It just a couple nuts. Anyway, if you gonna pay for the adjustment, it only make sense to wait until the front one install.

thats what iwas thinking because my car is very wierd now i dont know if its because i need an alignment or what but my steering pump is bad and i have it already just waiting to have it installed...but the steering is kinda loose, after i changed my rims put on sway and changed shocks i havent done an alignment yet because i had an issue with my rims im guessing thats what my problem is the steering pump and alignment the handling is still amazing 10x better then before but it just feels loose im hoping those two issues will correct the problem .Thanks Klinh

You HAVE to get an alignment once you removed any parts of the suspension even you didn't change your suspension like springs, struts/shocks, sway bar......etc. The feeling loose in the steering wheel is because of your toe-in and toe-out are out of wack. Another words, both front wheels are not pointing straights when steering wheel are in nuetral position.
