chickened out....
my car is coming to LA next friday and will be in the san francisco bay area on the 11th...too bad though, cause i won't be buying the car....i figured that it's too much money for someone in their early 20s to spend, and i'd rather see that money go to my first condo or townhouse....so sad 
...but hopefully, i'll be able to get the car in two years...maybe i'll settle for the 350...but we'll see. thanks for everyone's help on this forum. i love the CLKs and will definitely own one...but not now.
the car that will probably be available is CLK 500 albaster white/stone interior....keyless go, cd changer, navigation, the moon roof package(K3 or K4, i forgot)....i haven't told my dealer yet...im dreading it...but oh well.

Sounds like a smart move, if your funds are limited put them in something that will appreciate, not depreciate. The 03 has its share of 1st model year problems so wait for an 04 if your finances will then allow.
