CLK350 vs. C350
I have a CLK350 '06 w/ 43k miles and C350 '09 w/ 6k miles. I was driving the cars both pretty hard today, and I noticed something interesting. Both cars have K&N air filters. I felt that CLK350 pulls faster. I was just wondering if anyone raced their CLK350 with a C350 before?

I'm interested in this thread. My wife has a 2008 C350. I recently bought a new, untitled, never sold CLK350. The CLK350 had 2000 miles on it when I bought it.
There is a huge difference in the cars. Her car is quicker off the mark and the brakes engage with very light pressure. The CLK is quick but you really need to put your foot in it to get it going. The brakes seem very mushy to me after her car. It stops okay but not on a dime. I've talked to the dealer about this and he assures me that they should be different. Both cars were compared in both the C and S modes.
Anyone have a similar experience?

I can see what you guys are saying. The C350's pedal feel more responsive than the CLK350, but when manually shift the gears for both cars, It seems that my CLK has more torque pulling faster. Maybe it's because the C350 w/ 6k miles isn't really broken in yet. Maybe it's because I drive harder on the CLK more frequently than the C350, which the throttle response is adapted to my hard driving, but I reset the throttle response with both cars. In the end, I feel that my CLK feels faster than my C350. I'm pretty sure the two cars in general are darn close when it comes to a drag race w/ same engines and 40lb difference. When it comes to comparison other than speed, I like the styling of the exterior and interior of the CLK way more than the C. I only like C's headlights and the multimedia navi screen that pops up when car is on and pops down when car is off.
