yea, i was just trying to do this when the windows were closed, not when they were already open. i will try different things with it and see what happens....i didnt even know about this till reading this thread...

When I drop the top on my car all the windows go down first.
Doubt this is a convertible thread...
But I can use the convertible button to lower all the windows I just need to let go before the roof starts to move.

OK so in summary:
As Moedy and someone else mentioned, if you have all your windows/sunroof open, holding down on the RECIRC button will close everything. Holding it down again will return them all to the previous position.
The second button my manual syas will do the same thing is CHARCOAL FILTER button.
I tested both and it works.

If it still doesn't work, try holding the buttons for the rears and the sunroof in the open position for 10 seconds, that should resync them and then try again
