How to dyno a clk200 w209 yr2002
Hi guys,
Im having some trouble dynoing a clk200 1.8 kompressor m271 engine
( AUTOMATIC) as the gearbox always downshifts under load even when u shift the gear lever to the manual select mode to select ur gears.
Any solution available?
THnx

not sure if "dyno mode" is available on your car, but through the steering column, go to the temperature screen, then on the cluster itself, press the mileage reset knob three times. this will allow you to get to a sub screen where you might be able to turn on dyno mode.

I used to owned the Slk 230 with the ASP pulley kit that help designed, personally installed and tuned the kit myself. I sold these kit to all the Slk owners for 5 years while I owned the Slk 230. After I sold my slk to my brother's inlaw, I sold the right to sell the kit to ASP. I dynoed alot of the 1.8 and 2.3 SC engine with automatic with no problem what so ever. You really have to babe the the throttle to until 3500 rpm then "floor it" when you do the dyno or the tranny will kick a gear. I used 3th gears for my dyno. If you having a hard time still, try doing the dyno in manually selecting 3th gear.
