Amp wiring
I want to wire in an amp for a sub: i have a UK models V6 CDI and it doesnt already have the parcel shelf sub, so basically i want to put an aftermarket one there.
Assuming the wires are no where near the rear of the car for a line into the amp, where can i pic them up from command/nav? does the unit have the outputs?
It has the Ipod kit installed.

im not too certain on this and maybe other members can chime in.
but the way i would consider it done is IF you had a parcel shelf sub you can grab the signal from those to your sub. however you dont.
i believe that the next next best option is go ask your service adviser for a diagram of the amp and radio. maybe you can go from there. or you can ask to talk to a mechanic from the shop, some of them can be old audio installers.
most people on here go with an aftermarket unit to get the sub going.
