When is my next service?

I now got almost 59k... I think I saw some posts that there is a service on 60k?

Should I just wait for the message to popup?

is there a service manual for our cars? I bought it used, so I only I have the operation manual. It doesn't say anything about when things should be changed or serviced.

it doesn't make sense though? it is okay to do your own change oil... but not to jiffy lube (dont they have mobil1?)... I have change oil experience as well(car and my bike) but I am just too lazy to do it right now.. and don't want to bring it to the stealership... but yeah.. as you guys said.. i wont bring it to jiffylube! lol

If you do it yourself at least you know your doing it correctly. As far as the stealership I wouldn't bring it there for my oil change either. Try to find a reputable indie.

^^ +1,000,000

I don't like bringing the car to the dealer, MOST of those techs do not give two shizits about your car. Find someone local who works on benzes and knows what they are doing.

I go to a place called European Performance in Houston, the guy has the correct testing equipment and was MB certified, more importantly he is honest and actually cares about his work.

I go to a place called Bergen Imports. Besides mbworld, that indie shop was the best thing to happen to my MB. Nothing better than having peace of mind knowing ur car is in good hands

hmm.. indie shop huh? hmmm.. the only indie shop I can find here... are the ones doing wheels and tires... I already took my car to some shop who does luxury cars.. I enjoyed going there... coz I get to see some other awesome cars like porsche and others... but price is still high though..

Cost is part of owning a MB. I don't go to an indie to save money, I trust him more than some random tech, not to say there are not good stealership techs.

Yea, the main reason for an indie is not the price but the peace of mind
