Looking for updated Nav CD - parameters?

Hello all. My 2006 CLK w/COMAND has the original Nav CD - which is pretty lame. I'd like to update, but I don't know about what parameters to be worried about if I go shopping on say eBay. Will any MB nav disc work, or does it have to belong to the CLK class, or have to be associated with COMAND, or...???

Are they national, in my case meaning the entire US, or are they regional and I need to be concerned about getting one for the western US?

Any suggestions on a good source, and what would be a reasonable price?

Many thanks!

Went there, and it came up with an Alpine as the unit. Mine is the HK. Make a difference?

$248 kind of steep compared to other map updates even for my Porsche.

Well... It's a Mercedes. Nissan uses the same exact map data (different user interface of course), and the disks for the Nissan are around 100 bucks.

As far as the HK thing? I really don't know. I'd call navteq and ask them. I'm pretty sure they will know.

I spoke with Navteq rep yesterday, and they informed me that a new update will be available to replace this one in Aug.. I have a 2007 Gl450 that also uses this particular DVD.

Mine needs to be updated as I have v6.0 currently
