you need to learn how to use that pedal then, 99% of my runs against cars is on the highway so light weight helps me. I drive 90% of the time in dyno mode an i am yet to spin my tires.

Yea, i don't plan on that many highway runs. I'm focusing more on quarter mile runs and if racing outside of the drag strip it will most likely be from a dig or low speeds.

lol i would do that for logging best times and whatnot, otherwise just friendly street wheel races are the best.

If you run from dig being it planned run, release tire pressure from the wheels.

taking out the spare is a good idea if you wanna save weight. lol

i dont think it would be a pain in the *** unless you have a sub box bolted down to the car. then the spare becomes useless.

I think i remember reading on another site that someone cleaned out his trunk, deleted his resonators on his exhaust, and maybe something else and claimed good results. Said he shed a few hundred pounds that way and spent no money.

The something else was probably the 2nd cats. But what do you mean he spent no money? Deleting the resonator/2nd cats requires welding. Unless he did that himself

Yea if i remember correctly he did it himself. Getting it done at a shop would only cost around $100 bucks. I think there's a lot of different ways to shed off the pounds, i also think there's much potential as far as speed gains too (given the appropriate modifications), especially compared to how much your spending.. It kind of surprises me that its so overlooked when you look at how much aftermarket upgrades like kleemann can cost.

You mentioned earlier something about dyno mode. Do you always use dyno mode when you race?
