clk 350
help. how do i check oil level??

Just bought a used 2008 clk 350 cabriolet. on the way home (140 mile drive) check oil level at next refuel came on. I want to know how to check the level. i purchased at an auction, they are getting me a manual but, i dont have it at this time. HELP!!

2003 CLK 320
drive to a flat surface. turn to acc. use your steering wheel control and change it to where it shows the temperature. use the arrows and your get to the check engine level.

if that doesnt work. its on one of the menus

Why not go get your oil changed since you just bought the car and your not positive about what's in there?

there is a dipstick for checking the oil on the 350 engine and I don't think it will be hard to find. Even though the notice about checking the oil looks very alarming on the dashboard, the oil is probably not yet at the 'add oil' mark but the car will gladly take a quart.
I seem to need a quart every 3,500 miles or so.
