Making Doors Close With A Nice Thunk Again
Hey, all. When the '05 CLK500 was new the doors closed with a very nice soft thunk. Now they close with more of a mechanical metal-on metal sound. Has anyone restored the doors to their original glory in this regard? Perhaps there is a rubber seal that has gotten mushy and can be replaced?

My window saw loose and when the dealer fixed it = wind sounds at 60mph +

try tightening the bolts that hold the door tensioner in place...thats what i did and the metal on metal noise stopped.
i have a clk 430 tho so it might not be that simple
