Opinions on Trim

The car is going in the shop soon and one of the things I want to do is paint the chrome trim. I haven't decided if I want to paint it to match the car silver or black. I'm leaning towards silver but wanted to get some other opinions. Here are some pics with the trim black. Let me know what you guys think

Ok, so I am re-visiting the idea of black trim thanks to Angelo. I know you guys didn't like the look much before, but I have done a few mods since then. I was also thinking about doing the center part of the bumper. Here are a couple PS pics, let me know what you guys think.

I know, I know, just because I could doesn't mean I should (Eurotra$h). Just want to get some feedback.

Sick...lol!...know I'm gonna comment on it...

Really though with the new theme you've got going and all the pieces you have together with the forgestars having the chrome trim be black would be only correct...as if those strips are sticking out...

Good ps job...

Oh yeah and I really really like the black piece on the bumper...like Andy says it really makes a big difference...

I'm not really sure I like it. If you want it to be clean, maybe paint it body color...?

Dyno painted his roof right? cant tell. It'd look cool with black trim. matches everything. He got rid of the chrome on the grill so theirs no chrome on the car but the trim might as well do it to match your non chrome grill.

+1. I like the strip in the middle of the front bumper, but not the blacking out of the chrome strips; I'd go with body color on these pieces.

That's what I figure too...I think it looks great and not cause I'm biased and I did it but the chrome doesn't match his theme anymore...

As for Wes' roof it is painted...yes...

Either way it vinyl...he'll try it and essentially make the decision but I like the look of it and how it flows with the rest of the pieces of the car...

no chrome grill, no chrome factory wheels = no chrome trim.

Door handles. Make them black? idk a idea.

CF Wrap might be an idea to pull it all together

I'm still not sure. I will definitely be doing the center of the bumper. I really like how the black trim looks on the front bumper, but I'm not sure I'm feeling how it would look on the sides and rear. It might be a bit overkill. I will probably try one side with the vinyl once I get it to see. Color match would look great though.

the more I look at it the less I like the sides.... it kind of draws the eye off of the cars lines, but the bumper looks pretty good

Yup. The front looks better because there is separation between the strips.

Yup it's painted. BTW: The grille is carbon fiber.

I keep looking at it... I think it's all or nothing because the 3/4 view will look odd with the bumper strips black and the sides color match.

personally I think color match is the way to go.

what about the window trim?

You know, I think the front strips in black look awesome but the sides (IMO) aren't working. So, if the chrome has to go and it was my ride - color match.
