2003 CLK 320

front grill question

hey guys. i just noticed that the updated model of the CLK has a 3 slat star grill. i looked at mine, it has 4 slats.

so my question is will the updated 07-08 3 slat fit into my 03 without modifications?

I do, but it's black....I am thinking about painting it again to maybe use for the winter...lol...Don't know if I wanna sell it.

how much would you think a good price for one is. i found one. its a black one as well which is the color i am looking for. i might cf it if i am not feeling it.

Couldn't tell you. If your going to wrap it you could get the reps on eBay for around $100. They aren't bad, the star alone costs $50...

wow. didnt think the star would be that expensive. i guess i'll take a stab in the dark for pricing and see if he bites.

lol, I was just going to ask about that. I know he wrapped them but I'm having trouble getting the chrome pieces off..I can't find that thread, a little help Andy.

i remember reading it too. i dont know how i missed the 3 slat from my 4 slat in the first place. lol. i dont think he put how he took the chrome pieces off. all he said was it was easy tho.
