BS Spoiler about finished
Just needs the clear coat. The Silver paint job Coin (Rudy) had on the spoiler was top quality according to my guy at the shop. It has taken a couple of weeks for them to get it back to the original finish, but it has paid off. It looks amazing even with the final clearing not done. Should have it installed next week. Mike

You are lucky that they didn't sanded it down when they painted it.

Fortunately when whomever Coin had prep to paint it, only scuffed the clear over the CF to the point of getting the base coat to stick.

I had them install it. I helped align it with another guy. The trick is 2 people lightly holding it in place, no pressure while the third guy pulls the small exposed tape tabs from one end. Mike

They did a great job taking the paint off. So....The only thing holding it on is the tape? My guys use some sort of silicone adhesive to make sure nothing goes flying off. I installed my roof spoiler by myself once with just the tape and 3 days later it flew off on the highway.

It's all in the prep. They used a 3M product on the spoiler to clean and prep before the tape went on it, and another 3M product on the deck lid. They installed the other spoiler I had on it prior to the new one. I thought they were never going to get it off without destroying the spoiler and my deck lid. IT'S NOT COMING OFF! No worries my friend, Mike

Thanks for compliments. I am certainly happy with the outcome. It could have gone the other way and I would have been forced to just paint it black. The shop did a great job with it.
I now have an aftermarket CF spoiler to sell. Anyone interested let me. I will post pics. The fit is really decent with it as well. Paid 299.00 for it plus shipping from ebay. Willing to make a fair deal on it. Had it on the car all of 3 months. Mike
