How to remove dealer badge?
Can someone help. I hate when dealers stick there names on the back of the car. Its not the sticker kind where I can pick and peel but its the one with there name and double sided stickey to the car. Hope someone understands what I am trying to explain and hopefully someone will be able to help. I just don't want to ruin the paint.

I REALLY Hate those awful stickers too. I don't know how this epidemic got started but I wish there was a way to end it. Those stickers look so cheap - I can't believe how many cars I see where people left them on. They are so small (yet ugly) that I can't imagine it gains the dealership any new sales as a result of this cheap advertising tactic. They should pay ME to advertise on MY car. I'd love to collect 100 of those things and stick them all over the General Manager's car.
As soon as I got home, I pulled off the plastic advertisement emblem that Mercedes Benz of Alexandria put on the trunk of my car. I also took off the tacky license plate frames and replaced them with nice, simple chrome frames. The emblem was stuck on there with double-sided tape pretty good but I was able to just pull it off with my fingers. WD40 helped to take off any sticker residue. I followed that up with a car-wash-soap and water cleaning and then some polish.
WD40 is great for removing sticky residue on most surfaces. It doesn't harm the clear coat paint.

I got the shop who installed my wheels to take it off. Also, the dealer offered to take it off for me...I just happened to go to the wheel shop before they had a chance to do so.

Use a hair dryer to heat it up and soften the glue. The sooner you get at it, the easier it will come off. WD40 works but be careful with overspray and runs. It is not safe for plastics like the tail light lenses. I prefer Goo-Gone or another natural citrus/turpine based cleaner.
