What do you guys think of those lines on our hood?

I think they are "gimmicky" and take away from the looks, but i'm old so what do I know

 

I must be old too. Seems pretty "Fast and Furious" Honda Civic-ish. Especially if you stickered carbon fiber to your painted hoods.

 

carbon fiber is lighter and u can make it any color so u don't have a fast and furious look

 

The new car have such a nice 'sharp' look to them that designs like this look great, I don't know how it would look on a W209 though, our cars have much softer and rolled lines. Might look a bit busy, something less pronounced would look great IMO.
