New Pics...of the new and the old...

As some of you know I just picked up my clk 500 and I love it!...got a lot of
plans for her but for right now just tint (check), drop, shocks, paint the calipers, and these Mandrus rims...

Also have my other car which is my 04 Honda civic...my other baby...dropped,
tuned and a banging system...

Let me know what ya think and let me hear the suggestions...

Props to anyone who can name the car in the garage and the one under the car cover...haha

be easy ya

haha bheng...in the garage is actually a w208...nice...it's a '98 clk 320...good call...and you actually almost got the one under the car cover...that is our '89 300 e...we like to call her miss reliability...lol...

of course joining our mercedes family was my w209 clk 500...mmmmm...

As for the civic...man that is my first love and how I have learned to work on everything on cars...

It has 2 subs being pushed by a kenwood 1500 watt amp, a 1200 watt crunch amp pushing my polk db's, tweeters/ the works, and a kenwood headunit...love the system and all the work I put into this civic...

and thanks klinh...worked hard on it...kind of out of ideas with the car...haha...that's where the 500 is coming into play now...

Looking Good! The 500 is a different ball game than the civic. I could of named both cars if I saw this thread earlier..lol....Question, is that MB key for the w208 or w209?

Yeah I believe it I the same exact color...I didn't like it at first but now I'm in love with it...

The civic and benz are completely different worlds but I'm ready to make them both know to me...and to name the one under the cover would've taken only looking at the oem rims and an amazing Benz eye...as for the key it's for the w209...it different than yours?...

Mine is the new kind of key. The one with the chrome around it. Weird that you have the old one. Even when I ordered my spare, I received the new one..

As far as I know the 2003 and 2004 W209's didn't have a chrome key. They had the all black key. The chrome key is for the newer models.

If that's the case, I don't know why mine came with the chrome.

Did you buy your car new or used? If used maybe it was a replacement key.
The first time I saw a chrome key like that was when the wife got her 2009 C300.

Yea, I bought it used. That's probably what it was. I wonder why they didn't send me the old style when I bought my spare after buying the car.

The keys have changed styles. The originally came with the blacks, but for any model now with the black key it gets replaced with a chrome one. The chrome one in the picture is actually the older style! Theres a new replacement style to replace that one now.
