2004-05 CLK55 AMG MPG?

HI.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a quick question. I am thinking of trading my CLK430 for an 04-05 CLK55 and was wondering what kind of MPG I could expect from the CLK55? THANKS in advance for all help!!

2003 Mercedes CLK 500 & 2006 E55
check out mpgfacts.com. they have the NEW method of measuring mpg for most new/used vehicles... I drive a '03 500 and I get back 12 City & 21 Highway. I do mainly highway driving and get about 300 miles to a tank. the CLK55 will get worse on both. You should expect to get ~10-12mpg City & ~18-19mpg Highway. The other factor you've got to take into account is really how fast you tend to drive it (accerlation wise)...if you're a cruiser then you'd get a little better mileage (+2mpg at most); if you've got a lead foot, then subtract ~2mpg. I have an E55 as well and it gets 10 City & no better then 19 highway....

If this is a real concern for you, an AMG may not be the car for you IMO.

C63 507 AMG DA Car #19
$$

04 CLK55 with mods:

60% highway, 40% spirited other driving I avg 17mpg.
100% highway 21-22mpg

Go for it, it's a great car (I might be a little biased).
