Does anybody know if the Shorty Style (uses the factory mounting points on the engine to the exhaust tubing) E55 headers are a direct bolt on to a CLK500 (55K M113 to an NA M113)? I know that the E500 and E55 share the same exhaust manifold, so does the CLK500 and CLK55.

They might have the same part numbers. Does anybody have access to the EPC and verify they're the same Part #s?

Hope this helps Los...This is what the EPC lists, sorry if it's kind of long....

The CLK500 209.372 (Coupe) 273 140 03 09 Left/273 140 02 09 Right up to 05/31/07 and
273 140 23 09 Left/273 140 24 09 Right after 05/31/07

The CLK500 209.375 & CLK55 209.376 (Coupes) have the same part #'s, but 2 different sets
113 140 09 09 Left/113 140 08 09 Right and 113 140 39 09 Left/113 140 40 09 Right (The last two are coded with "Automatic 7-Speed Tranny")

The CLK500 209.472 (Cab) has the same part #'s as the CLK500 209.372

The CLK500 209.475 & CLK55 (Cab) have the same part #'s as the CLK500 209.375 & CLK55 209.376 (Coupes)

If you have any spare time, can you look up the E55 exhaust manifold part numbers as well?

No problem. Here is the E55 info...


Both E55 211.076 and the 211.276 have the same part #'s

113 140 20 09 (Cylinders 1-4) / 113 140 09 09 (Cylinders 5-8)

So it looks like they share the same Left part number 113 140 09 09 , but a different right part number (CLK 113 140 08 09/E55 113 140 09 09); It might be doable!
