Nope, but I will find out this week. It's getting repainted along with installing the spare tire well and CF diffuser so I should be picking it up in a few days.

Looking forward to seeing the pics on that. I'm going to leave the single mid line (after the cats) but increase the size, then split into twin pipes in the rear.

Andy hooked me up with a link to round duals, exactly what I wanted, something different than oval. If they end up not looking right, I can buy AMG oval tips from a local exhaust shop.

Cool, are you going to have the VIS diffuser also? I ask because the openings of the diffuser are over 10 inches.

Yes I am, it's in a crate in Canada waiting to hit the high seas.

When I was first doing some research on tips, I PM'd another member asking him what the approximate size of the opening was, he didn't reply with an answer but did supply some other info. Now that you tell me 10", I'm 100% sure the tips I bought aren't going to fill the opening very well, they are going to look small. You have the AMG tips right? What is the total width of them? Must be 8 or 9" eh?

So side by side they are over 9" (4.5 each with about half and inch in between I'm guessing). I think the rounds I got are a total of 7" or so. Crap. Oh well, sounds like my wife is going to get a nice new set of tips for a quad exhaust on the C class...

I'll keep that in mind . Still, big thanks for hooking me up with the link to those tips, they look fantastic and will go really nicely on the C class if I don't use them in the end.

The AMG tips don't have a stand alone part #. They are usually part of the whole exhaust. You would have to come across someone selling just the tips.

A junk yard or another member selling them is your best bet. Each exhaust brand new would run you around $1500. Most of the AMG tips MB uses are the same size

NO they are not the same...For example, the E55 tips are larger (not that much) than the C55 tips.
