I believe they install they same, but don't quote me on that. PM Carlos (2MCHCAR) and he should be able to explain. These are his resistor pics. One thing he said is the lights didn't come with sockets. So make sure your guy provides the sockets.

He said from 06-08 he doesn't need a socket. But prior to that they do. He gave me the part # for the socket A2098200877 & A2098200777 being for prior to 06 models in case you need it

He said you don't need a socket because he's assuming you have your lights and you're going to use those. Since you sold them and will be using the pre-facelift lights you will need the sockets.

Yea, it looks like those part #'s are correct. They are $16.68 each through parts.com.

If you have a facelift W209, you don't need instructions. There is no modification you need to do, only put the tails in. It's the pre-facelift W209's switching to the facelift tail that need modification.

Ahh thanks man. No news yet, just found out it's the same ones that Carlos has being DEPO. I'll prob pick them up monday and install them if everything goes smooth. I'm just gonna use the sockets from my old taillights...hopefully they'll work.

UPDATE: Cam down with a 102.4 temprature and namonia. Went in the emergency room and i can't leave the house for a week. I just refunded the eBay winner and told him once i get better i will sell it back to him and get started. So it looks like you're gonna beat me to the punch dynomite, can't wait to see great it looks.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon. The tracking info on my lights hasn't been updated since they left Germany on the 7th. I might not get them installed for a few weeks so don't count yourself out. lol

Feeling better Amirican? I just picked up my lights from the post office. I might try to install them tonight. I'm thinking I might tint the turn signal a bit darker.

Ahh i'm still in a slump. Going back for some tests tomorrow. Those look great, can't wait for you to install them. PLEASE take many pictures of them at night so i can see what they'll look like.
