New to the forum with a possible electrical question
Hi all! I'm new to the site and wanted to introduce myself and share some pics of my first MB! I returned my IS250 and bought a 07 CLK550 coupe with 17k miles on it. I was ready for a car with some speed again and have loved the car so far.
This morning, I started it up and I got a message indicating that the right front park lamp was out. I thought great, need a bulb, no problem. About 2 hours later I started it again and got a message indicating that the 3rd brake light needed attention. Once I got home I checked out both and found that the parking lights on both sides, front and back are fine, but the brake light is out. Is this some electrical issue or am I misunderstanding the messages? Thanks!

I had the same issue on my 500. The computer gave me a warning about my rear license plate lights. When I checked, they werent out, but a few days later they were. Same thing happened with my right bi-xenon. Keep an eye on it and just replace when you know they are out for sure. Congrats on the 550! It looks great. Any plans for mods?

I'll do that, thanks for the suggestion! I don't have specific mods in mind yet, but I'm always open to the idea of coaxing out a little more power and speed. Fortunately, it looks like this forum is a great resource. I'm looking forward to getting into the threads a bit more.
