What are your intake plans? Most setups end up sucking in more hot air than anything else.

So...pretty much the only bulbs that are left to swap are my glovebox, reverse lights, front turn signal and side view turn mirror signal bulb. The glovebox bulb is easy enough with a 6418 bulb, but how do I do the side view mirror turn signal bulb? How do I take the plastic cover off and what bulbs go in there?

As for the front turn signal does it accept led's or will it throw a code or not work properly? Also, what about the reverse lights will it accept led's or throw a code/ not work at all?....these should all have resistors too, will that help?

Lastly, for the low beam, high beam and fog light bulbs they won't accept led's at all?....not even with resistors?

Thanks for any help...

Glove box is pretty easy yes.

As far as mirror turn signals i have never seen that before being done... Those are already LED's

Fog lights i have tried but failed so i went with HID's
Low beam? Dont you already have that HID (sig)
Reverse lights would prob be same as fogs also the high beam. I remember Dyno here tried that but it didnt work either...

Well I want to change my front turn signal, glovebox, side view mirror turn signal all to red to match my already red interior...get the theme?...lol...

As for my headlights they're actually bulbs, but I found this company that has extremely bright bulbs that are reliable too...

I don't know if Dyno tried his low beams, reverse lights, fogs, etc. with resistors or if he just used regular led's...i really want to change the reverse lights...have done it on previous cars...looks great and how often am I in reverse?...haha...

I feel you on the reverse lights. I want mine LED too. I tinted my white part and the output of the white has decreased. Before i was able to see in the back from the bulb and now i cant but i am sure a LED would do the trick...

Red side mirrors would actually be GREAT i never thought of that. let us know if you find anything

The mirror turn signal is sealed. When an led goes out, you have to replace the entire piece. Unless you could get it open, or replace the entire plastic, you can't change them. I have tried fog/reverse lights and they don't work without wiring resistors. I haven't tried the low beams, but I would imagine it's the same result. If you can do the wiring you shouldn't have a problem.

Hmmm...a new piece it may be...they can't be that expensive...lol...

As for the reverse lights I could probably find some with resistors already in them so I should be able to do that.

What about the front turn signal you think that'll need resistors?...

I'm pretty sure the front turn signal will also need resistors.

+1.

A great air intake system might reward you with 5hp, nothing whatsoever in regards to 1/4 mile time reduction. A E55K setup is a nice add on, beyond that, no real/actual worthwile gains - look at Klinhs numbers for proof. I'll be doing the same in a few months.

I tried to put switchbacks in my front turn signal. so the turn signal is always on but white and when i turn it blinks orange. stupit car wont turn on the constant white part of the bulb when not in blinking mode. saw a diagram to rewire the housing seems easy. but looks really nice when its working. u have the white blinkers always on then ur hid low and hid fogs all white. very clean =)

Just lurking around, question though.
Do the interior leds actually dim like halogen bulbs? Or do they come on abruptly?

I love the red/tan theme you got there newjd, nice job.

Thanks! I had ordered them after I saw this thread and was kinda nervous to put them in. No I got them here.

I think they'll look even better once I get the ext lighting the way I want it...
