I meant that I wasn't able to find a set in the timeline I had, I wanted to get some and have them re-painted, gun-metal changed to black. I contacted 3 sellers but they were all out of stock at the time.

That's a shame. They look awesome, the black would have set it off.

Ya, I wanted to have two sets to change between, those and the ST281's. Oh well, not going to lose any sleep over it.

I have C63 wheels and they are not the same. Mine have straighter lines, not so curvy like the CLK63 Cab. wheels.

The C63 spokes look wider than the CLK63, also the lip of the rims are different.

When comparing them, I think I like the C63's a bit more.

I have gotten so many compliments on my wheels. The straight edges and flushness really look cool, especially when the car is moving.

I bet you have, they look great. If I decide my forthcoming 281's don't look right I'm going to get a set like yours (but 19's) and have them detailed black.

I know in a long back previous post you said you weren't going to lower your ride, but man, it would look a heck of a lot tighter. Christmas is coming, tell the wife you want a set of springs...

I was always under the impression that the CLK63 wheels were 19's, maybe that's because the last years of the CLK55 they started making 19's. Anyone know if there is a pacakge to get 19's?

Thanks!
I was considering lowering it, but to be honest. I got new struts a year ago. I spend most of my "mod money" on the wifes 545i now. I want to put the M5 bumper on her car next.
