Sqeal while turning and suspension "clunk"
Have a high-pitched squeal while turning left or right and a front suspension clunk when traversing bumps.
Recently had the front brakes done. Did they miss something?
TIA for any input.

it was the PS fluid - filled it and drove around a bit -now the squeak is very pronounced when I turn to the right, so that's a bit scary
i may have overfilled it a bit, so going to use a turkey baster to remove some of the fluid and check it again. wish me luck

I am taking it down to MB dealer tomorrow morning for a diagnosis. I am hopeful that it isn't anything too major - and if it is, that it will be covered by CPO warranty as a goodwill repair, since the CPO expired at the end of Sep. We'll see!

I had the inspection done yesterday - they said no leaks in the system or other problems. Service writer advised that once it gets low and sometimes is refilled, the noise persists for 30-40 miles because there's no way to bleed the system other than use.
Interestingly, I was able to speak with a tech about it (we shared the shuttle back to the dealer, as he was dropping off a customer's McLaren SLR!) and he said that the reservoirs tend to crack or have leaky seals - and that's probably where my fluid loss came from. And that even if i had overfilled it, the reservoir cap is vented, and it would just overflow when hot, causing little/no damage.
So, longer term - I will look to replace the reservoir and associated seals, but for now keep it topped off with fluid. Total tab - $80 for dealer inspection and $34 for the correct MBZ fluid. Plus a turkey baster! ($3.95) for high-tech fluid level adjustment!
(Another note: according to the service writer I spoke with, this is one function that is NOT sensored on the 209, so best to manually check your fluid level as a precaution)
