Toyo Garit KX

I posted similar information in the Tires/Wheels column.

I installed Toyo Garit KX as my winter tires on Tuesday and after a few days of highway/city driving, I am impressed. These tires are quiet and the car feels stable and controlled I went up to 160 KMH on the highway yesterday.

Highly recommended.

Me too, didn't pay too much attention to Toyo. I used to buy the major brands like Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc.

After Pirelli discontinued both my summer and winter tires (Pzero Nero M+S and Snowsport 210), I gave up on them.

I took a chance based on my tires guy recommendation and it worked out.

I was thinking of going with the Pirelli Snowsport 240's, but ended up going with the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D. Waiting on them now to install.

Don't know anout Snowsport-240. I know by my personal experience that the 210 was not too good on snow/ice.
