Dashboard Central Locking Switch Question

I have a CLK320 209

The central locking/unlocking switch on the dashboard is not operating the locks. Bit inconvenient when you want to stop to pick up a passenger when the car is locked(locks automatically shortly after initially moving off).
The central locking button on the key however works OK.
Is this likely to be a fuse or a problem with the switch circuit?
Appreciate any advice.

If it ws a fuse, the entire locking system shouldn't work (aka, key fob, central switch, etc.), sounds like a switch problem to me. Pull the panel, disconect the switch and plug it back in, could be something as simple as a loose plug.

Good luck.

If you don't mind driving with unlocked doors, you can disable the auto lock feature in the convenience menu.
