Interior Lining Coversion (Black)
Hello all. I have been thinking about switching my headliner to the black OEM version or getting it done in black alcantara. Either route I take, I need all the corresponding black parts (visors, handles, etc.). I started a list of some of the parts needed. The two parts I'm having problems with are the rearview mirror and the lamp unit with the map/dome lights. I was wondering if someone with the black interior could help me out possibly with a VIN or the part #'s. I have checked ebay for a W209 with the black, but no luck. Thanks in advance.
Please let me know if you see something that's not on the list.

First of all I vote for Altantara. I have Alcantara Corbeau seats in my track car and absolutely love them. Second, I can't help you on the parts mate but you can get a spray dye and re-color your existing parts black/semi-black/charc, etc. I did it in another car and they turned out flawless.

That's a good idea Kev. Will definitely save me some money. I'm about 98% sure I will be going with black alcantara. The CF steering wheel I bought has black alcantara grips and the CF shifter will be accompanied by a black alcantara shift boot. I will be upgrading my HVAC and Upper controls to the facelift ones, so I was thinking about getting the Sosche faceplate wrapped in black alcantara also.

You are the freaking man! Thank you. I thought I remembered someone saying they had a black interior, but couldn't remember who. Much appreciated.
I should have some pics of the tail lights soon.

The pieces I posted are the stock pieces in black. I will be getting my headliner wrapped in black alcantara and need the black pieces to match. I can't have a black headliner with grey handles and visors. lol. I'm also thinking of doing some alcantara on the seats and door panels to tie everything together.

I am thinking about doing the same with the faceplate, but with vinyl, it'll be uber sexy. Also want to re-do my pillars, headliner and perforated leather on my seats in Alcantara to match my dash colour, completing the two tone deal.
As you can see by the interior pic of my track car (in my album), I'm a big fan of two tone Alcantara interiors!
When are you expecting your wheel to be done?
