Yea it's wierd, they are one of the only vehicles you can sell for more when they are modified correctly.

Had a little free time so I decided to finally wire/install LED signals for the Jeep.

3 wire into two: 1-1/2 w resistor, 2 diodes for each harness. look how tiny they had to be compared to the pliers in the pic. I think I'm the soldering master now after all that.

Red LED dash and gauge lights.

Finished w/ an extra running light in the fenderwell.

Appreciate it! They are 33x12.5.

I also ordered almost every replacement LED bulb for the car so I should be doing this shortly, just figured I'd get warmed up on the wiring in the jeep haha.

Did you put on the paste that came with them?

Yea but do you need to use a lot on these pads or something? I didn't put any more/less than I have on disc brakes in the past. Maybe I just need to pop them off and re-do it.

Maybe. I find that a nice thorough wash after installing new brakes helps. The old dust sticks around for a few.

I think that the akebono pads might be just a little bit physically bigger than the factory pads and they are hitting the little ring of rust on the rear rotor? I might take them off and run them by the bench grinder a couple times to slim them down length wise.

Oh Ive used brake cleaner about 5 times and washed/pressure washed them hoping that was the problem to no avail.

Yep, definitely. I don't really know how to explain what I'm talking about but when I get around to it I'll take some pics and post exactly what I'm talking about.
