I don't rub. Just don't drive like an @$$hole and you will be fine. Remember you are on thin rubber and your car is lower, you don't want to hit anything big.

Haha of course no rocks and pot holes especially after driving my very low civic (the exhaust/ undercarriage has gotten beaten up)...haha...but I went over a dip today and I heard my tire rub...does it really effect anything of it's only occasionally?...how is it gonna be when dropped another 1.2 inches?...

This are the reasons i do not want to go with 19's but 18's instead.

DO 18's on a CLK dropped look bad or smth?

When I did all my research I didn't like how it looked...but it depends how your roads are...here in Vegas and where I live I have amazing roads until I head into north Vegas...

What were you thinking about getting?...

I think if you hit the right pothole, you're going to bend the rim not matter the size. This board is littered with threads of people bending and cracking the OEM MB wheels. These are the first 18s I have ever purchased, but I figure I could lower it a bit to make up for the gap.

Angelo, I think I see a suspension upgrade in your future. I have never had an issue of rubbing with any of my wheels, but I also upgraded the suspension as soon as I bought it.

Yea, if you are worried about the ride now, you will eventually talk yourself into needing them.

Sounds good...do you think I'll be alright when lowered still and does it really affect anything if it hits occasionally?...

I looks great, Angelo! Much better during the day. You could appreciate the wheels. Everything flows well together. The drop will be the icing on the cake.
