Detailing products...what do you use to make it Bling out of control?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
WoW!
You need, what I have dubbed, "The Floor Mat Protection System"!!
Here's what you do....
1) Buy yourself some headrest covers.
2) Whenever someone is about to enter your car with wet, dirty or sandy shoes, have them put the headrest covers over their shoes.
The elastic in the head rest covers will ensure that they fit snuggly around their shoes, thus fully protecting your floor mats from crap!
3) When you reach your destination, eject passenger from car.
Your friends will hate you, but your floor mats will stay clean!! lol
.....Behold... "The Floor Mat Protection System"!!!
LOL!!!!

.....I always thought of saying "prrreaase remove zor shoes...." and then followed by "preeease remove your bra for good measure too" hahaha
I finally got around to using the 425, and I must say it's amazing. Thanks for the recommendation. Also my first time using ONR (two bucket method). I would wipe down a panel, dry it, and follow up with some 425 for a great finish. The ONR is pretty good on it's own eliminating swirls, but the 425 took it to another level. I am very impressed with both products and will be using them religiously in the future. Thanks again Rash!
Glad you like the #425!
Awesome, isn't it!
Glad to help you out, my good man.
P.S - I like your new signature vids!
Yo!
Heehee, yeah, sorry bud - and to all of you.
I'm still here, buddy.
Work's just been busting my ***** abit recently, that's all.
I've been pretty tired after work.
My Girlfriend lives up north, so I also talk to her on the phone quite abit in the evenings too.
Hopefully, she may be moving down to me later in the year.
I hope you are well!
I'm sure I'll be more present on here when I get more time, but I still check in to see what you lot are up to.

On car-related news, I finally got round to giving my tailpipes a good clean and polish the other day!
Here's a pic I took.

Tailpipes look great, the bumper looks shiney and clean too

Feel you on the work bro, same here.
We haven't heard from you in a while so I was checking to see that you were still on the forum and hadn't done any crazy mods to you 63
We need car care tips from you now that spring is coming up.And I promised that I'd stop you if you had any crazy mods planed to your 63

Thanks for your compliments on the tailpipes!
I damn near wore my fingertips off in the process!
lol!
Crazy mods!
LOL!
Na man, I'll keep it sensible.
I'll consult you before I get any wacky ideas!
LOL!
Speaking of wacky ideas.. check out this poor CLK!
A guy over here in the UK owns it.... I was shocked!
Yes, spring is coming, at last!
I'll be around to provide you with more "unorthodox" methods of keeping your cars clean!
LOL!

Man that CLK doesn't even look like a CLK anymore.
Looks like a pimped out honda(no offense to any of you with a honda).
I don't know if it's spelled like this but, have you done an "lacquer varnish" to your car?
I did it this summer but my car doesn't even shine like yours

Well I got to go to work in about 7 hours so I'll talk to you tomorrow.
I need a few tips, I'm washing the car next weekend. Haven't done that in 3 months
But it's been in a garage so it's just a little dusty

Yeah, that CLK looks very bad indeed.
He must have been on crack or something

And that wing!

No, I haven't lacquered my 63.
Thanks very much for your comments on my car.
I have waxed it around 55 times since I bought the car - Finish kare #2685.
Yeah, I went abit crazy with the waxing! lol!
That's the only thing I can think of that has given the car the shine that it has.
I haven't waxed it for a while, but I will be back at it as soon as the weather is abit warmer (it's been too cold in the garage to wax really).
But as I mentioned before, I use #425 to clean my car, which, in itself, also helps to give the car a glossy finish.
So all my car gets is #425 and #2685 - no water and no soaps.
Look forward to catching up soon!

Because I have lacquered it I can't wax it because it will ruin the lacquer protection, as I have understod it it's a thin film on the car, like vinyl.
Do you know if there is any products that I can use that will not ruin the lacquer protection? I want my car to shine like yours
