Potential Purchaser of 2009 CLK350

I'm a potential purchaser of a 2009 CLK 350 cabriolet this coming week. The car comes with 18" AMG wheels with Conti Sport Contact tires. I'm looking for ride quality, not performance tires. I don't like the harsher rides (like the 328 w/run-flats), do you think I'll need to change these tires and will I have ample options with the 18" wheels? I don't mind a firm ride, but I don't want to lose my breath with every pothole.

Also, I've been told that all the CLK350 suspensions are the same by one salesperson, but I've seen that some appear to have a sport suspension, others not. I've been told that the car that I may purchase has the sport suspension. What's the deal with the conflicting stories? What do these cars really have as options? The car that I'm looking to buy is out-of-state, so it's not one that I can test drive easily.

TIA.
