I think this will be the best idea, and give me the nice contrast. If someone is willing to take this CF double din off my hands for at least $125, I don't mind the $50 to see how it looks.
You guys are always so helpful.

Hey Dyno,
that's actually my car in the pics, i was the test fit for the Din. The piece is good quality and looks a lot better in person than those pics.
Like everyone says if it matches your other interior trim it will look great! I havent seen your trim but this is real CF and should match up or be really close to it.

Nice! My trim is being done by Ivan at DCT Motorsports. This is a pic I received before it left the factory. I'm waiting to get it in my hands. Did you end up keeping a piece, or was it just for the test?

That looks nice man. Did you buy a whole new set of the interior trim and send to them or did you just use your original?
I kept the din. I love it, it looks so much better than the scosche plastic piece i had in there before.
From the pics it looks like they would match up well. But either way you go, full cf or alcantara its gonna look sick!

Thanks Roland, I appreciate your help. I sent them my trim and they wrapped it in CF. If you check the first page of this thread you will also see the steering wheel, shift knob, and door handles completing the package.
Did you do any CF work on your other trim?

I haven't done my interior trim yet, but hoping to soon. I want to by a used set though and have that wrapped and not use my original set, so i gotta find that first..

Thanks, I haven't even received the trim yet. It should be any day now. Funny you say that, I did the same with most of the trim. The only trim I had to take out of my car was on the door panels. The center trim I bought used, there are a ton floating around on eBay.

Is it in fact for a facelifted W209 or a W203? If I were you, I would grab it for that price, almost too good to resist. If it doesn't match the other CF items, then wrap it in Alcantara...

A month to the day after I should have received the trim, it's finally here. The bad part is I'm still waiting on the shift knob and boot. The good part is that the work is amazing! Everything looks great, no bubbles in the resin, no uneven weave patterns, it's perfect. The door handles arrived also and they are equally as impressive. I had my doubts from the pics the seller posted, but they are great. They look much better than I thought they would. My favorite piece of all has to be the steering wheel. The alcantara looks and feels great. It looks grey in the pics, but it's black. I will be installing most of the piece tomorrow. The 2 pieces around the controls have to wait for my audio install because the upper control wires have to be modified.

WOW amazing man.
I like the doorhandles as well they look just liek the rest of your trim.
The Alcantara is gorgeous man i love how it stands next to the CF.
Now for your Audio trim i would highly suggest you go with Alcantara instead of CF.
Cant wait to see them installed congrats

Also can you post step by step pic when you install the trim back to your car man?
It would help me when i cover mine.
Dont feel like you have to do it though only if its not much trouble for you.

Thanks fellas. Badblack will be helping me document and install tomorrow. I will post everything once I'm done.
Clkboi, I think you are right about the double din. Thanks again for posting the handles, they really look great and set it apart from all the other CF interiors.

Thanks guys. The work they did is great. A bit better communication on the sellers part and the overall experience would have been great also. I will be installing most of the trim today and will be posting pics.

Here are some pics of the driver panel we did today. Thanks to Badblack for coming in the freezing cold and helping me out. We had a hard time getting the panel back on so I decided to leave the passengers for my shop to take care of. I also didn't have the correct allen key to loosen the center nut for the steering wheel. I will leave that for another day. Not worth going through that in the cold. We also installed the shifter surround and the ashtray cover. The controls will be installed with my audio. I think the door handles look great and definitely compliment the rest of the trim. let me know what you guys think.
