LOL, exactly!!! One of the speedshops I managed played that movie 24/7 back in the day. It was awful but it sure gives a ton of bad film making to mock. I swear to God the guy that scripted the movie had never even seen a car before! F&F, Driven and (by my demands) Days of Thunder were played as regulars on the car video display units.

20% loss off stock with a 27tq gain off mods. I'd love to see you cook those numbers but if I had a 550 and ran it on a Mustang, I'd be happy

no i have not seen your pulley pic, but it looks like we all overrated 5.5 V8 numbers OE tuning did a tune on a s550 and here are the numbers.

Mercedes Benz S550 Dyno Tuned CA91
5.5L V8 Dyno tuned by OE Tuning
+36.2wHp & +45.3wTq@2250rpm
Baseline Max 267Hp, Tuned Max 291Hp

I know we run 93 octane here so i don't know how much more power we get from few octane points but thats some sad numbers.

Thats almost a 30% drivetrain loss according to them (267whp stock), my old Chevy's didn't drop that much between the crank and rear wheels. On the flip side, a gain of +36 WHP is quite amazing....

BTW, pulley and header pic is in "Container is in port" (or something like that) thread.

the nismo 370z i ran last time claimed to have 344whp n 266trq thats more than stock M3 and i handled his *** so i don't get how i can be only in 320WHP.... stock M3 is in 323 WHP. Torque must count for something! M3 people told me that through gears M3 generated more Tq but i don't belive it! no way gears will add up extra 100TQ.
