@bheng - I'm good! I was in Afghanistan for about 11 months and got back in May. Since then I've been traveling and partying... went to EDCNY, EDCLV and was in Europe for a couple weeks. Now I'm in the process of moving to Ohio. I'm going to take my W209 on a road trip next week!
So many new names in here!

I don't think Wes owing Kev parts had anything to do with his disappearance. But setting aside this project, I always did think it was weird that the most active guy on the forum disappeared overnight, supposedly because he started a family. There has to be more to it than that, but whatever.

^ completely agree! I understand starting a family but you cannot go cold turkey, I'm still active on 8thcivic even though I don't own a civic anymore, work, go to school and maintain a personal life. I do remember kev saying he tried to contact him several times with no aanswer. Strange, a mystery that will nevwr be solver

So to revive a crazy old thread, the car is semi complete lol. I have it in my possesion, and I couldn't be happier. The tail whips around turns and it's burning rubber off the line. It's amazing how quick this car is and it's still missing major components. The SL55 intake I had for the motor doesn't fit with the CLK firewall. So those air boxes will be up for sale if anyone is interested. I have a friend of mine who's a fabricator making me a custom intake which will be in by the end of the week. Kleeman headers are on order and as soon as they get here he will be installing them with a new 3" exhaust front to back. Once that is done I will go for my Eurocharged tune and then really see how much power it's putting out. Will be posting some pics and vids soon.

I saw that you responded to a post earlier today about a carbon grill, so I figured your car was alive at last. So what, in a nutshell, was the issue that took so many years to resolve? The three or four of us here who remember you are curious.

My guy sent all the electronics out to his guy in Germany who delayed everything with different issues. But now everything works, car starts with my CLK key. Inspection passes with the CLK Vin on all comps. Basically factory.
