i'll be honest. i think the amg reps looks way better. the black wheels dont do your car any justice. of course its personal opinion, i just can't stand black wheels unless they're some crazy matte finish 13" wide concave wheel or something.

with that being said, send me your one fin grille and we'll call it even.

Nice to see that there was a major difference in body roll and handling.

As the car sits now, I agree, the AMG wheels looked better but this is just the begining...

Those weren't reps mate, those were the real deals. And yeah, as I said the car 'as is' looked better with them but with the changes coming soon, you'll see why I chose the black wheels.

How about I keep the grill and we call it even anyways

Hey pal, haven't seen you around for a while! Thanks and yeah, I finally began the project, rounds 1 and 2 should all be done in a few weeks (just waiting on another part, something I changed my mind on) then round 3 is the power mods, I'll get to that sometime in February. I hope to have a few more pics up late next week

I'll tell you one of the two; I changed my mind on the muffler. I originally bought a Magnaflow to use at the back of the car (where the original muffler sits) and loop around the spare wheel well like a few other members did. I changed my mind because my probable future mods will need something that breathes a little better so I bought a larger Magnaflow that will sit in place of/replace the factory resonator and run from there.

The second part I ordered I'll keep mum on for now just to make sure I can get it, I'm working with a shop here trying to bring it in as we speak. It's a cosmetic piece, nothing exciting but it's needed to be able to finish my exhaust system. If I can't get it, I have something else here already that can be used.

Cool, so you're gonna have just one x-resonated muffler in the center and from there just straight pipes to the tips? Which one did you buy? 18"?

Yes and no. One muffler, dual in, single out, then split to dual again.

I don't feel that I need to run a true dual the whole length, one short section of 3" is going to be a-okay. A single 3" has just under 90% of the square inches as dual 2.25 (using the basic pie r squared) however, it has far less surface area for the air to 'rub' against, 14.13 compared to 9.42. So, what is better? Who knows and who cares, all I know is that a short single run is fine.

In the end it's just using a short 3" run to pass under the axle, use as a basic equalizer, save the weight of an additional muffler then split back into dual for the tips. Lot's of guys use different theories and calculations, the above is what I have used and my employers & partners have also used for years. Now, if the car was set up like Wes's with a double bumped rear sway and swapped wheel well, then I of course would run dual all the way back, but mine isn't and I don't want to spend the money to modify it - I'm fine with the way I've planned it.

And yeah, I bought the 18" one, I measured and the 24" would not have fit too well.
