2007 Mercedes CLK350
command/ radio problems
during the winter i have left my car in the garage for a few weeks cause the car is not good in snow and when i finally get to drive it again... i notice that my radio is working but the buttons dont work... the buttons for radio, cd, bass, treble and the number button on the right... the only thing that works is the volume... can someone tell me whats wrong and what can i do to fix it without bringing it to the dealer?

trying resetting the car by unhooking the battery. wait 15 sec and hook it back up.

Alright, I have reseted my car but now my radio doesnt work.... What happen? Is it possible that I need a new battery? My car is around 95000 miles already...

Geez, don't reset it again, you might not be able to get a door open!

J/K. If I were in your shoes, I would do the re-set again but wait a while before you hook the battery back up. When I changed my negative cable my steering wheel controls didn't work anymore - I did the battery reset thing again and all is well...

W209 electrical gremlins much???

ok so do I disconnect the negative or positive? Where can I get the negative wire?

Disconect the negative side. Why do you want a new negative cable, is yours worn/corroded?
