Which sholud I buy a CLK320 or CLK500?
I'm looking at several CLKs 320s and 500s here in Dallas TX. What are the benefits / drawbacks of each? Is the 500 that much better than a 320? Thanks!

2005 CLK500
it's night and day, and also depends on the year you go with.
if you go with a 500 you'll enjoy the benefits of power, torque, and better handling. even more so a higher sex appeal as it's generally outfitted with the AMG kit and most 320's are not.
05 and up 500's also have the advantage of a 7 speed automatic transmission which is outstanding. you can stilll get close to 25 mpg on the highway driving conservatively because of the extra gearing ratio.
the 320 is a little laggish but has some punch, lacks that aggressive approach, and is better on fuel efficiency.
the bigger question is, what do you want the car for? any 320 can be dressed like a 500, but no 500 can sip gas as efficiently as a 320.
there ya go.

I think this is a lot like buying a TV, "should I buy the 42" or the 50"?" If you buy the 42" and save a little cash you'll always regret not getting the 50" later on.
Go for the 500, great power and great looking car w/AMG package.

I have an '04 500 - the last year of the 5 speed tranny, and the mileage is pretty poor, but I love it!! So if you could get an '05 or newer you'll get better gas mileage. I get about 17 mpg - and it's premium gas. Not a cheap car to drive!
