Man that would look great! I sketched out a few designs for mine, I haven't decided if I want to go full stock/hidden or full show. Maybe something in between

I think I'm kind of going for the semi-stock look for the system. Like it allllllllllllllllmost could have come from the factory.

Considering that is the theme I've been trying for the exterior of the car, I suppose I should try to keep the same inside. Buuuuut, I have something in mind that might look pretty bad a$$.

Too many projects on the go with this car, need to get some done before taking on others!

I'm the exact same way with everything in life- I'll start one big, involved project-complete about 90% of it and start another one while having like 5 going at once haha.

Thanks Wes!

Worked on the system a little

Didn't like the look of the aesthetics of the box so I started cutting away

Added some ponte fabric

Also didn't like the look of the amp cover I previously made so made this one

Thanks Kev! It's actually a cheap $60 router/table (task force from lowes) combo that I've been messing around with for a few months. I actually went and got a Dewalt router recently just so I didn't have to keep unscrewing that one from the table haha. If you have a strong respect for keeping all of your fingers mixed with some patience almost anything is possible with a router

It all looks great so far, I sure miss having a garage to do all this stuff in. Although I sure am not complaining about my situations, I have really come to learn over the last couple years that you sure give a lot up to be an ex-pat.

I presume you're going to glass it up and paint it to body-match?

Kev- what do you mean ex pat? And I was thinking of that or getting matching grey leather and wrapping the rack/box, don't really know yet.
Wes- yes that is usually what fuels late night work sessions haha.

Well my brother got back safe from Afghanistan and is getting married this weekend so I started on this to go along with a gift card.
Him-Fiance-Her two spark plug kids. Also, he's holding the "key to her heart" which is also a cam lock. Tonight I'm making a ball and chain to go on his leg haha.

Hey guys! long time no post-I've been getting my A** handed to me at work but I got a really good deal on this 10-15 yr old unit made by Magnum?> They went out of business from what I understand.

220v twin cyl. 6.5 hp

This is the plug I'm using for it that was previously installed in the shop- It looks like a 3 wire going to a 2 pole breaker. What's odd is the wire looks like 4 or 6 gauge inside the box? Is that normal? There is also a cut-off switch on the other side of the shop that doesnt appear to work (or is connected to another outlet) I'll figure that part out later.

So I went and got some stuff to make a power cord out of 10/3
White/Black hot and green to pin

Wired it into the box to terminals marked "line-line" and "motor-motor" and grounded the motor and cord seperately inside the pressure switch.
Now problems:
- the motor wants to start but just flips the reset switch by the capacitors after about 1 second
- Motor started once and ran fine for about 5 minutes before I shut it off and now it's still flipping the switch.
- Motor was a little warm to the touch even before it started and ran for 5 minutes.
Is it the "run" cap that is causing these problems? Could it have something to do with the breaker itself? It's labeled for a 2 pole breaker inside the cover for the pressure switch.
Any and all help greatly appreciated!
Oh and a pic of my dog just for S&G's
