I'm still up in the air about what sub/amp combo to put in there.
Whatever it is, it's going to be a High RMS 10" with prob a 700-1000 watt amp.

 

It's the beginning of a fiberglass sub enclosure. About a week of re-strengthening it and sanding and it will be done. I still need to order a sub first though.

 

Ah I thought it was for sounds. I take it you've measured up a sub already lol :P

 

I have a general idea of C/F I want the sub to need as well as a general idea of the actual mounting depth. How I make the front will really determine most of that.

 

Ok so I decided to go with a Fosgate P3 10" sub and I'm thinking about a massive audio NX2 960w monoblock amp. Does anyone have any experience with massive audio? I've been hearing good things.

So basically you have just started. lol

 

EXACTLY haha, now I knoqw why custom fiberglass boxes are so expensive. Anyways:
Laid some more glass on the outside of the back of the box-


Needed a way to cut perfect circles with a router so I bent/drilled a bunch of holes in a piece of flat stock I had laying around and ta-da-

 

keep it up man. Car is looking bad *** on that first pic with the trunk open

 

Cut out one for the speaker and a larger beauty ring-


Router table to pretty the outer ring up and now I just need to glue them together-



Also this is my first time building a box like this so if anyone sees a better way to do something go ahead and let me know.
