New Jamesbbh's CLK500 cab thread
Well I know in these threads all people really want to see are pictures and descriptions of what you've done so I started a new one:
Recently curbed a wheel for the first time in my life so I had to take them off and started sanding/bondo last night
I'm going to end up painting them with a matte black then I found a matte clear coat to finish them off.
Also got some BFG KDW II's to go on when done

Also went back to the factory grille, I'm thinking about painting or wrapping the fins in a matte black but leaving the emblem chrome.
My dog tyrone ballin'
(you can barely see him haha)
Aslo, not MB related but I made a little box and a tiny pirate sword?
and did some work to the shocks on the jeep
JKS bar pin eliminators
Currie shock relocators/extenders
new bolt sleeves/grease

Finally, I ordered all of the replacement interior and license plate bulbs and resistors from superbrightLEDs.com so I should be doing a how to for anyone wondering when I get some time. Also, I made a fiberglass materials order with UScomposites so the First-aid kit area fiberglass enclosure should be getting started within the next two weeks!!

Haha thanks guys. It's more of an addiction, but I guess it's better than meth
Side note, this will be the last pic of the wheels until mounted. I coat of high build primer- then fine wet sanding tonight and paint.

Also go tot mess around with the new welder a little bit.
A local older Pro-surfer died yesterday,Yancy Spencer III, so I guess this was kind of an "in memory of" type thing.

Oh and I know I over welded the SH** out of everything, I was just enjoying how the MIG was laying beads compared to Flux haha.

Thanks wes! Bad black, I went through a few sets of these on my last car, and while they don't last too long, I love the grip.
Question- Where did you guys get the X-pipe for the exhaust?

I want to keep the single exit tips but get rid of all cats/mufflers but I also want to keep the resonators. Hmmmm. I think I'm just going to have to get under there and look for a while and figure something out.

Nice! That's what I was going for haha. The legs took about 30 min. just bc I had to cut/grind everything down to get an arc, but the rest of it was only maybe 15 minutes. I think I might take some thick coat hangers and make a web tonight.
