Lightbulb Opinions on PS of new grill and wrap

I've just bought a clk240, as I said in another thread its unfortunately had to have the transmission replaced before I can pick it up (another 8 days to wait ).

I'm putting an SL-style grill on and would like your guys opinions about wrapping the lower grill in vinyl.

I tried to edit the pic myself (in paint, I don't have PS anymore).
What do you guys think?

It won't look that good like in the picture because you can still see the fins. The picture, you can't see the fin at all.

There was no production of an e39 M5 Touring, there were I think two built for BMW exec's in Germany, but thats it. Mine was simply a factory M-Sport Touring, with the upgraded suspension, steering and aesthetics.

Yea, but I imagine that it wouldn't stand up too well against rock chips.

yeah true. vinyl seems challenging lol. i'll prob vinyl it in spring break.
