I'm still undecided. I might have to do the old 'flip a coin in the air and see which side I hope it lands on trick'.

Grill already installed, though it was quite hard becuase my one arm is in a cast at the moment... Here are 3 pics of my car with the horrible paint editing job.

I keep thinking option 3 is out of the question then I have another look at it and I'm like "Eh, maybe. If I don't like it I can cut the vinyl back to option 2 and if I don't like option 2 then I can cut the vinyl back to option 1"...
I guess I'll really only know what it will look like once I have it done. My photo-editing skills are sub-par at best.

What are you guys talking about?
Seen this? No big add-on full length lip required.

And your point is?
Mine is that you can vinyl wrap at a slight outward angle down from the outer most point of our 2004 smiley opening and get a very similar look. Sure it won't be the AMG grill.
The only thing I would change about Fai+H777's install is making the line downward straight (but angled slightly outward) rather than a curve.

Well i think its because they look more boxy and the 320 is just more round. if it was boxy then it would be great to go straight down like that AMG but i mean its whatever people like. haha

I get what you mean about the round/boxy. Just hoping I can fool the eye a little with the prominent black space overriding the underlying smiley swirls. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm going to experiment. https://www.metrorestyling.com/Produ...e=PREMBLK970RA
After all, it comes right off.

With the stock (non-AMG) bumper, option #1 is the only way to go. You don't have the trailing lines of the AMG bumper to carry the black down the lip. Anything other than #1 in your case looks obvious and out of place - nothing should be obvious, everything should flow. Be one with Zen...

That photoshop reminds me of Nancy Regan in the 80's - "JUST SAY NO!"

Fai+H777, How about a big favor and photoshop us a version of your picture with the edges being straight and angling ever so slightly outward?
Sorry, I don't do PhotoChop.

Your photoshop was fine, it showed a very acurate representation of what the car would look like - and that being, well, what was it that Nancy said again...?
