stainless brake lines

has anyone changed their brake lines to the stainless steel ones? if so, is there much of an improvement over stock? also, when changing to stainless steel brake lines, do you need to do a brake fluid flush or just bleed it out is fine?

I haven't changed them on this car but I have on others. You just need to bleed them out good. Honestly, I'm sure there is a little tiny bit of pedal feel improvement, but it's mainly for aesthetics.

I swapped out to Stoptech SS lines. Can't really comment On the feel because I changed more than that.

worth it

not that much effort to put them on

you could easily get away with just bleeding
have some extra fluid on hand

are they really better? yes
can one tell? maybe

Have tried both Brembo and Stoptech and no difference noticed between the 2 ss lines.

i did the brake flush about 5000 km ago. i just changed my rotors and pads, to stock rotors again but posi quiet pads and it seems like there is less "bite" when pushing the brake pedal. i have to push the brake pedal further in quite a bit. what do i need to do, other than upgrade to bigger calipers, to get it to the point where you barely push on the pedal and it will bite quick, just like how new cars bite really good right away.

Sounds like you just need to bleed the H*** out of all four corners.

lol well this is gonna be an interesting one.

i will be having c32 brakes up front and the stocks in the back. so do i buy c32 ones for the front and regular 320 ones in the back?

EDIT: just checked them out. same price and from the looks of it, same model. .

Should be the same. When I switched to my front brembo calipers I had to use the brembo SS line because of the length of the caliper. When I installed the BS rear brakes I was able to use the Stoptech lines I already had on.
